JEANNETTE MAYOR WANTS NEW PANIC BUTTONS INSTALLED AT CITY HALL

Jeannette Mayor Curtis Antoniak says he wants new panic buttons installed at City Hall.  The mayor is calling for the alert system after Administrative Assistant Andrea Beneke reported that someone barged into her office last week, shut the door, and demanded to speak with her.  Some offices in the building have foot switches that were previously wired into an alarm setup but they do not work anymore.  Antoniak says he wants the buttons put in as soon as possible in order to protect workers, especially those who handle money.
