Charges of attempted homicide were added to the case of a Mt. Pleasant man accused of chasing another driver and shooting at his vehicle. The Trib reports that the trial of 30-year-old Paul Caletri III was delayed as state police re-filed the charges. His father, Paul Caletri, Jr. faces similar charges to his son with the exception of attempted homicide and criminal mischief in the case. Police say on December 12th, the younger Caletri pointed a shotgun at the truck of 42-year-old Tom Snyder. During the chase that followed, the Caletris allegedly hit Snyder’s truck with their own vehicles. It’s unclear what triggered the chase.
