Spirit Airlines is resuming daily flights to Florida from Arnold Palmer Regional Airport. The Trib reports that the flights were cut back in the fall amid a reduced flight schedule as the carrier worked through bankruptcy concerns. Airport Authority Executive Director Gabe Monzo said the decision will help the airport financially. The authority said it experienced close to $600,000 in losses last year due to the number of flights and passengers that flew in and out of the facility in Unity Township. Last month, the airline announced the resumption of daily flights to Myrtle Beach starting May 7th. The daily round trip flights to Orlando will resume on February 17th.
