GREENSBURG COUPLE CHARGED WITH CHILD ENDANGERMENT

A Greensburg couple is charged with child endangerment as their children were found to be living in deplorable conditions.  The Trib reports that 39-year-old Robert Conklin, Jr. and 38-year-old Erin Pitts, both of Allegheny Avenue were accused after a county Children and Youth Services caseworker made an investigation of their home.  It revealed two four years olds and a two year old were living in filth, and that Conklin had also given one of the four-year-olds whiskey.  A preliminary hearing has yet to be scheduled.
