Strong winds and heavy storms ripped through western Pennsylvania yesterday. 90 mile an hour wind gusts were reported yesterday at Arnold Palmer Regional Airport, along with hail about the size of a golf ball. As of this morning, West Penn Power reports that over 5000 of its customers remain without power, with the majority of the outages reported in Ligonier Township. Crews are still working to restore electricity.
