No major incidents were reported over the weekend for the unsanctioned IUPatty’s celebrations. The Indiana Area Collaborative team reported that there were increases in pedestrian traffic and activities like large parties over the weekend, but things remained under control for the most part. A New Kensington man was arrested by Indiana Borough Police for making threats, simple assault and criminal trespass. Officers said 22-year-old Adisun Jackson was seen on the back porch of an apartment on South 7th Street Saturday evening. He refused to leave the residence and showed he had the gun in his waistband during a verbal argument. He is in Indiana County Jail pending arraignment.
