FIVE WESTMORELAND COUNTY YOUTH FOOTBALL TEAMS FORM FOOTBALL LEAGUE

Five Westmoreland County football teams have left the PA Youth Football League in order to form their own league in the wake of a police investigation.  The Trib reports that the teams from Derry Area, Greater Latrobe, Greensburg-Salem, Mt. Pleasant and Southmoreland will form the Keystone Foothills Football League.  Their former home is currently under investigation in Greene County for the disappearance of money from the league’s bank account..  WPYFL oficials could not be reached for comment.
