WESTMORELAND COUNTY COMMISSIONERS HIRE NEW HR DIRECTOR

On Monday, the Westmoreland County Commissioners hired a new director of human resources.  The Trib reports that Amanda Bernard will serve in the position starting April 28th.  She served in the position for about two years before leaving for another job in 2020, and was replaced by Alexis Bevan, who resigned March 18th.  Bernard will oversee the county’s 1800+ employees when she steps into the role.  For the next month, however, there will be no leadership team in place for the office.
