STATE POLICE ARREST ONE IN CONNECTION WITH DICK’S SPORTING GOODS THEFT

State police have arrested one person in connection with a theft at Dick’s Sporting Goods in Hempfield, but two remain at large.  The Trib reports that the theft was reported at 11:30 on Sunday at the store on Route 30.  Video from the store shared by police showed three people running out the front doors carrying merchandise in their arms, then getting into a Ford and getting away.  The driver, 18-year-old Hussein Hassan of Pittsburgh, was arrested, and police found stolen merchandise.  Two others have not been identified and police are looking to the public to help with that.  Anyone with information can call state police from the Greensburg Barracks at 724-832-3288.
