PENNDOT HOPING TO HAVE NEW SALINA BRIDGE READY BY WINTER

PennDOT is hoping to have the new Salina Bridge ready to go by winter.  The Trib reports that crews are finishing abutment work on the Kiski township side of the river before moving on with the rest of the project.  The bridge will carry Bridge Street over the river and the Norfolk Southern railroad tracks between Bell and Kiski Townships.  Beam installation is expected to start later this month.
