Police have seized more than 35 pounds of marijuana, numerous vape pen cartridges filled with cannabis, along with firearms, mushrooms and cash in a bust that resulted from a traffic stop.
The Tribune-Review reports that State Police, along with Greensburg and Penn Township police officers and a county detective were working on a narcotics interception detail near Lewis Road when 31-year-old Zachary Morton ran the red light. After police pulled him over, a K-9 officer detected drugs in the vehicle, and they found 20 pounds of marijuana and some of the items, while the remaining marijuana and items were found in a search of his home.
A preliminary hearing is set for October 25th.
