A woman from Derry pleaded guilty to having sexual relations with an escaped inmate from a juvenile detention facility and was sentenced yesterday in Westmoreland County Court.
The Tribune-Review reports that 44-year-old Rebecca Dunn met the victim, a 17-year-old boy who was in a Fairfield juvenile facility, while she worked there as a cafeteria worker. The two engaged in sexual relations at her home at various times after he escaped in 2017.
For her guilty plea to one count of institutional sexual assault, Dunn was sentenced to serve six months of house arrest and four years on probation. She must also register as a sex offender for the next 15 years.
